Her professional journey began as video coordinator at CBS Sports, New York City. As a video coordinator for WTVJ-TV Miami and WTVJ-TV Miami, she was awarded the Sports Emmy. She also worked at WPLG-TV Miami and WPEC-TV West Palm Beach in Florida. In 1993, she joined ESPN and was named one of the initial anchors of ESPN2 when it was introduced that year.
